My entry for the 2009 Snarry Games. The prompts = alive and kicking, glam rock, and to the vitctor goes the spoils. The story is about how the events in Deathly Hallows affect Harry. He uses a time turner to go back in time to his fourth year at Hogwarts and warns Snape about his impending death. The two cooperate and ultimately defeat Voldemort together. They are both truly heroes.

Dedicated to Kami whose vid using the Johnny Cash version made me realize what a good song this is for Dan and Rorschach. This version is super angsty and a tiny bit AU. Laurie leaves Dan with Manhattan before Karnak and the end has a bit of a subtle twist with respect to Dan avenging Rorschach’s death.

This is one of the songs that supposedly inspired Stephenie Meyer in writing the series. I am not sure who is the weirdo…Edward or Bella…but this vid is basically about Edward’s angst over being “special,” Bella’s desperate desire to also become special, and all the associated chagrin.

Vampire Angst
I have been waiting to use this song for a long time and it had to be Snarry. After the heartbreak that was Lily Evans, who other than Harry Potter could possibly make Snape love again? In addition, I really like using Michelle Trachtenberg with red hair as Lily and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Severus from Mysterious Skin. Even though the characters so do not have a romantic relationship in the movie, they just fit. Joseph’s character even has a mother like Eileen. Expect to see them again.

I started out making an Edward/Carlisle vid, but realized that I didn’t have enough footage…so it became Edward/Bella. This vid is sort of about all the decisions the two must make in their relationship: whether to turn Bella into a vampire, whether to give in to desires or “wait until marriage.” I sort of play with the idea of them doing both of these right away.
